Location: North West Region

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Dependent on experience

Sencat are an established facilities management company specialising in Health and Mental Health Services and can combine all trades into one. We have undertaken many construction projects from small repairs to large refurbishments in a variety of commercial industries, whilst always maintaining a track record of keeping our projects on time and within budget.

We are recruiting a Contract Support Manager to support the Contract Manager to negotiate, manage and execute contracts for the business, ensuring all contracts align with the company’s vision and regulatory obligations. Provide full support to the Contract Manager for the below duties. Provide field base management to the employees and ensure that the works are being delivered in a professional manner that represents the company's needs. Report all foreseeable concerns to management. 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Effective day to day management of maintenance contracts.
  • Supervising contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and governance.
  • Manage sites to ensure contracts are completed on time and within budget. 
  • Monitor our subcontractors to ensure that we provide a valued service.
  • Monitor ongoing work load keeping all employees productive.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders, and employees to ensure smooth delivery of contract/work load.
  • Coordinate and supervise staff working within the electrical department. 
  • Provide quotations and source materials. 
  • Carry out general contract administration.
  • Provide Risk Assessment method statements for works.
  • Implementation and management of H & S plans.
  • To liaise with auditors, providing all information as required and dealing with any queries.
  • To follow agreed procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and processes.
  • Provide and support both the company and management with delivery of policy/procedures to the engineers. 
  • Ensure that the company policies and procedures are followed by employees. 
  • Ensure that employees are representing the company in a professional manner. 
  • Quality check works being carried out by employees and ensure any unacceptable works are addressed. 

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience of working in the construction / building / Facilities Management sector
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and delegate workload to capable employees
  • Experience to lead and work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Proficient user of MS Office packages
  • Ability to work efficiently, effectively, diligently, and courteously without the need for constant supervision
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to relay communication to and from both management and employees  
  • Ability to follow and deliver verbal and written instruction 
  • Holds a full and valid Driving Licence
  • CSCS/SMSTS card 
  • Good technical knowledge of electrical works 
  • Good knowledge of professional working standards and Health and Safety practise while in work.
