Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: Field Based, Northwest Region

Salary: Circa £30,000 - £43,500 dependent on experience

Due to continued growth and company success over the last 12 months we are looking to recruit two experienced Air Conditioning Engineers to work regionally serving our commercial clients.

Sencat are an established facilities management company specialising in Health and Mental Health Services and can combine all trades into one.

We have undertaken many construction projects from small repairs to large refurbishments in a variety of commercial industries, whilst always maintaining a track record of keeping our projects on time and within budget.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Responsibility for AC and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.
• To undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients AC systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding.
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work.
• Ensure that all AC equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.
• Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards.
• Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
• Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
• To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
• To be always fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs.
• To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with H&S regulations, risk assessment, COSHH etc.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience in commercial Air Conditioning
• Small Works, including replacements and new installations.
• Undertake maintenance works, quickly and accurately, diagnose faults and repair, complete remedial and installation works in a workmanlike manner for the range of building services found in their customer’s buildings that are within your scope.
• Experience with installing/repairing.
• Engineering ability with at least 5 years of experience in a commercial building setting
• Cross industry experience is welcome.
• You will have a passion for learning about the latest technology and products.
• Full UK Driving license.
